MESSAGE FROM RAJYOGINI DADI JANKI JI, CHIEF OF BRAHMA KUMARIS

Cleanliness and sanitation are fundamental to the development of our country, and for the better, brighter and healthier future of our children. In the past four years, India has made rapid strides in sanitation for all under the Swachh Bharat Mission, which has made sanitation a national movement of people. It is our responsibility to ensure that we continue to play our part in ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in our surroundings.

As we approach the 149th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and the fourthanniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission, the Government of India, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is re-launching the Swachhata Hi Seva mass movement from 15th September, 2018 leading up to 2nd October, 2018. During this period, all of us, the citizens of India, should go out and play our part in making India clean by offering Shramdaan for Swachhata in our localities and neighborhoods.

We should also encourage our relatives, friends, colleagues and neighbors to come out and offer Shramdaan by organizing and participating in cleanliness drive programmes.
