As a participation in Swacchata Hi Seva movement at Raipur, Brahma Kumaris and Kumars took up the task of cleaning the roads and culverts on Vidhan Sabha Road and surrounding areas of Shanti Sarovar. The culverts were filled with soil and full of green grass grew in it. So drain water was blocked.
BK Savita, BK Kiran, BK Bhoomika, and BK Shanti and the teammates actively involved in the service. They swept all the waste and discarded materials from the roads, removed the soil and grass from the culverts. As the passage was cleared drain water started flowing freely. Dust got collected on the roads was also removed to avoid flying in the air by the speed of running vehicles.
The employees and labourers of City Municipal Corporation gave their full cooperation in cleaning activities. Later all the collected waste was lifted away by the Municipality vehicles.
It is noteworthy that our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modiji has recognized Rajyogini BK Janaki Dadiji as a Brand Ambassador of this National Project, “Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan” because Brahma Kumaris Organisation always been emphasizing on the “Inner Cleaning of Mind” along with the “Clean Environment”.
